In our Part Warpage studies, Shadow utilizes all aspects of the Filling, Packing and Cooling results, Shadow can perform a warpage deflection study which identifies and presents your part's deformation predictions. In addition, this warpage can be broken down into its major components -- differential shrinkage, differential cooling and molecular/filler orientation. This service remains very popular among our customers who examine their parts dimensions throughout the entire molding process.

We have used Shadow on several projects in the past, and every time their results mimic almost exactly what we see in the real world at the press. Even the short shots Shadow generated for us looked just like the short shots that came off the molding press at first samples.
